Hyppo Envelopes is Changing

For over 25 years, Hyppo Envelopes has proudly served small businesses all over Australia with a unique, niche service: printing envelopes complete with postage stamps – done for you.

Over the past 10 years we’ve absorbed rising Australia Post stamp costs, envelope manufacturing, and freight increases — all while barely moving our base price and passing on the cost of the stamp itself. With postage stamps set to rise to $1.85 in September 2026, that model is no longer sustainable. It’s a service we’ve been proud to offer our loyal customers for more than 25 years, but unless we raise our own prices on top of the ongoing stamp increases, the business simply can’t continue.

In light of this, our small family business has made the difficult decision to sell our Post Office and discontinue our printed & stamped envelope service. Our little Licensed Post Office will close its doors at 12 noon, Friday 14 August 2026.

What’s staying

We’ll still be offering printed (unstamped) envelopes and our full range of business stationery — just in a new form. Kate and Jeff, who between them have provided graphic and print services to Hyppo customers for over 20 years, will continue this side of the business under Hyppo Print.
